suite ChemBioOffice Workgroup è la versione di ChemBioOffice
pensata per piccole organizzazioni o gruppi.
Le applicazioni create con il software sono accessibili
tramite SQL Server e possono essere condivise tramite
rete; i dati sono archiviati in un database SQL e
ciò permette di avere un robusta soluzione a costi
contenuti.
ChemBioOffice

Chem & BioOffice Workgroup Software Suite
Untill now, there was no offering for small groups
that work collaboratively but do not have the resources
to deploy a fully fledged enterprise solutions.
- Desktop solutions are adequate for single users or small groups
- Enterprise solutions require Oracle and many days of services
and customization. Fits large organizations.
The ChemBioOffice Workgroup suites are designed for small organizations
or groups that want to organize and search over their
inventory, purchase reagents, as well as manipulate
and store chemical and biological data. The ChemBioOffice
Workgroup applications are compatible (and require)
with SQL Server and accessed through a client
side application. The Workgroup solutions offer much
of the functionality delivered in ChemBioOffice Enterprise,
while using SQL Server as the database, instead of
Oracle. This eliminates the cost and maintenance involved
with an Oracle based application, but still maintains
a robust solution suitable for a smaller group's needs.
